William M. MacDonald, 62 of Omro, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident. Lt. MacDonald served his Community in the highest honorable tradition of a true volunteer. He was a valuable member of our Unit and we are proud to have known and served with him.

David E. Eichmann, 68 of Westfield, Wisconsin, died as a result of a stroke. Capt. Eichmann served his Community in the highest honorable tradition of a true volunteer. Dave was a leader, mentor and friend, we are proud to have known and served with him.

Roger Paul Rose, 84 of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Officer Rose served his country with honor and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge on August 1, 1952, he returned to Oshkosh to serve his community as an Officer with the Oshkosh Police Department.

After serving 22 years, he retired and became the first and only retired Oshkosh Police Officer to join the ranks of the Oshkosh Auxiliary Police.

Auxiliary Officer Rose served with distinction and high honor, mentoring and providing many members with insight and skills.

Auxiliary Officer Rose exemplified the true essence of our guiding principles of Courtesy – Honor – Respect – Pride. We are all better having known him, and are proud to have served with him.
