Oshkosh Auxiliary Police
Squad A is the Training Squad of the Oshkosh Auxiliary Police.
My Staff and I are responsible to insure all Auxiliary Police Officers are adequately trained for the services they provide.
Each candidate upon being accepted into our Unit will be trained using a variety of methods. These documented training skills and assessments will insure each new member possess the basic skills to perform their duties as an Auxiliary Police Officer.
We have a variety of training methods such as:
- Initial introduction into the Unit
- Probationary assessment and requirements
- Field Training Officers (FTO's)
- Monthly meeting training sessions
- Documented Police and Procedure Manual
- Hands-on skill building sessions
