The Criminal Investigation Division is headed by Lieutenant Andrew Lecker and comprised of two Sergeants, seven Detectives, five School Resource Officers, and one Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG) Drug Unit Investigator. The Criminal Investigation Division is supported by a Crime Analyst.

The Criminal Investigation Division personnel focus on the investigation of major crimes, ongoing drug activity, and juvenile delinquency in the schools.
