The Criminal Investigation Division is headed by Lieutenant Brett Robertson and comprised of three Sergeants, seven Detectives, six School Resource Officers, and one Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG) Drug Unit Investigator. The Criminal Investigation Division is supported by a Crime Analyst.

The Criminal Investigation Division personnel focus on the investigation of major crimes, ongoing drug activity, and juvenile delinquency in the schools.
