Subject:      Shooting in the 1000 Blk of Bong Ct

 

OSHKOSH, WI (April 17, 2026): The Oshkosh Police Department responded to a weapons incident that occurred in the area of the 1000 block of Bong Ct. in the City of Oshkosh.

On 4/17/2026 at approximately 11:20 PM, officers from the Oshkosh Police Department investigated a weapons complaint in the 1000 block of Bong Ct. Upon officers’ arrival officers discovered a female with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

Officers have a suspect in custody at this time and are still actively working the scene. We are asking the public to please avoid this area.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and we are not looking for any other suspects.
