Subject:      Arson in the 600 Block of Fredrick Street

 

 

On July 21, 2026, at approximately 8:19 PM, Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the 600 Block of Fredrick Street in the City of Oshkosh.

 

Upon arrival there, Officers located a 28-year-old Oshkosh male who admitted to intentionally setting his vehicle on fire and damaging some windows inside his residence. The vehicle fire spread to a neighboring home, causing damage to the siding. No injuries were reported from this incident.

 

This male was taken into custody for Arson to a Building and Criminal Damage to Property.  

 

We will not tolerate intentional acts of arson or damage to property. These actions create serious safety risks for the community. What may begin as damage to one’s property can quickly escalate into a dangerous situation that threatens nearby homes and lives. The Oshkosh Police Department remains committed to protecting the safety and well-being of our community and will continue to thoroughly investigate these incidents.
