Community Service Officer
Become a Community Service Officer
A Community Service Officer is a part-time employee of the Oshkosh Police Department and performs a variety of tasks that will prepare the CSO for a career in law enforcement. Community Service Officers are students who work up to 12 hours per week during the academic school year and 38 hours per week during the summer.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current enrollment in any Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree program at a university or technical college
- At least eighteen years of age
- Possess a valid Driver’s License. Driving status in Wisconsin cannot be revoked or suspended
The successful candidate must pass an oral interview and a background investigation.
