Crime Prevention - Citizens Police Academy

The Citizens Police Academy provides an opportunity for citizens to learn firsthand about police operations. Citizens are provided training similar to that of an actual Police Officer through a series of lectures, simulated activities and hands-on experience. The Academy is a benefit to the community and to the Department because it builds relationships and creates a group of citizens who are better informed about the reality of police work.
